Our Family
We are the Jason and Gloria Croutch family. Our family enjoys backyard picnics, good coffee, spikeball games and kayaking. Our oldest 2 kids are married but they are still dog lovers and enjoy playing with our puppies when they come home. Lanna went home to live with our daughter Jessenia now that she is married. She's retired from our breeding program and living her best life with one of her favorite family members.
We began Buffalo Valley Puppies in 2004 when our family was needing supplemental income so Jason could continue working for a non profit organization. We were offered a purebred Labrador Retriever from a family member. Our children were getting old enough to need some chores so we decided to accept the offer. Wow! Little did we know that we were about to become a dog loving family! It’s been so fun to see the compassion and love that our children have developed for dogs and puppies!
Needing a loyal companion? On a hard day we will find our children sitting with their dog - did you know that dogs are great companions when you are feeling down? We like to take them on our walks, and they join our backyard parties as a family. They love to sit at the back door and beg for food from our dinner table and they are always happy to see us arrive home.
Longing for those happy puppy kisses? Our Goldendoodle and Labradoodle puppies are such a sparkle of joy to our family. The puppy kisses and snuggles never get old. They consume our waking (and sleeping) hours for 8 weeks before they go home to you. After they go home our arms feel so empty, but it’s so rewarding to see them thriving in good homes and making many families happy.
Gloria grew up on a farm and her Dad always told her that she should have been a vet. She has a sixth sense for what our dogs are feeling and has nursed several dogs and puppies back from death’s door.
It's about community -not just a puppy. In addition to all of the above we simply love people ~and we love Jesus! We consider all of you our friends and we enjoy all that we have learned from you. We’ve learned all kinds of things from you (unrelated to puppies)... how to build a better website, where to get help for a friend who is struggling with Alzheimer and where to go for help for our dyslexic son etc.
In 2004 we started with just purebred Labrador Retrievers.
In 2011 we switched to F1 Labradoodle puppies.
In 2016 we added Goldendoodle puppies to our program. Because of all the allergy issues and shedding many people were asking for Goldendoodle and Labradoodle puppies.
July 2017 our family moved to Chiang Mai Thailand to serve as missionaries. Jason was the director of Ransom Ministries. This was a ministry to prevent girls from getting trapped in human sex trafficking and exploitation. In 2019 the ministry closed and we moved home.
June 2019 we moved back from Thailand and are serving the Lord in the beautiful Buffalo Valley again. Stay tuned for adorable Goldendoodle and Labradoodle puppies for sale again.
Thank you for putting a smile on our face every day and we look forward to doing business with you and becoming friends!
